A short animation based on the relationship of an artist and his daughter, and their deep connection to one another.
Using dialogue, music, traditional animation, stop-motion, experimental DIY photography using Caffenol (coffee/vitamin C developer) and 2D rotoscoping Terrance and his daughter Neko share a unique look at an indigenous father/daughter story.
The original installation for Land/Slide exhibition at Markham Museum Sept/2013. two sound installation created for the Land/Slide project in Markham, Ontario. Using real historical events to create songs about mythical characters dealing with love, darkness, passion, adultery, betrayal and murder, the installations conjure a possible past that harks back to the mid-1800’s Markham Gangs via a Worker’s Room, an original Horse Carousel and a turn of-the-century Barn.
